DebtFit came to us with a sharper take on a tired category. What if managing debt felt less like accounting and more like training? We took it from a concept to a launched iOS product in 12 weeks — brand, app, and marketing site shipped together as one coherent system.
Debt is one of the most emotionally loaded problems people face — yet every tool built to address it feels dry, passive, and easy to ignore. The founder came to us with a sharper take: what if managing debt felt less like accounting and more like training?
The opportunity was real. Millions of people carry debt but lack the motivation or structure to tackle it consistently. Generic budgeting apps weren’t cutting through. DebtFit needed to be something people actually wanted to open — a product that made progress visible, rewarding, and genuinely engaging.
The fitness metaphor wasn’t a brand device — it became the product’s entire mental model. We reframed every interaction: overpayments became “workouts,” interest reduction became “calories burned,” milestones earned XP. Discovery confirmed the emotional triggers driving gym consistency — streaks, progress bars, visible wins — translate directly to financial behaviour change.
From there, we designed a system that tracks debt across connected accounts, generates personalised payoff strategies, and surfaces progress in ways that feel rewarding rather than clinical. Every screen was built to answer one question: does this make the user feel like they’re winning?
